Martin Palma

Martin Palma was born on April 9, 1982, in Warsaw, Poland, into a family where architecture had been a profession for several generations. Although surrounded by architects from an early age, he was particularly drawn to landscape design, seeing it as a way to combine architecture, nature, and human well being. At the age of 11, he began creating his own landscape concepts, studying spatial composition, plant selection, and the organization of outdoor environments. These early experiences laid the foundation for his future career and inspired his lifelong interest in landscape architecture and environmental design.

Martin Palma received his professional education at the University of Warmia and Mazury and the University of Agriculture in Kraków, where he studied Landscape Architecture from 2010 to 2013. His academic training focused on landscape architecture, ecological design, dendrology, landscape construction, and modern approaches to urban space planning. During his studies, he participated in practical projects involving the development of public spaces, private gardens, and urban green infrastructure, gaining valuable experience in sustainable landscape planning.

After graduating, Martin Palma began his professional career at a Slovak landscape architecture company, where he worked as a landscape architect and designer. Over the following years, he contributed to the design of public parks, private gardens, commercial landscapes, and infrastructure projects, developing practical expertise in integrating architectural solutions with natural environments and creating functional outdoor spaces.

The next stage of his professional development took place at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava, where he completed advanced professional studies specializing in landscape architecture, garden and park design, urban planning, and the development of contemporary public spaces. In addition, Martin Palma completed specialized courses dedicated to classical and modern schools of architecture, which included intensive practical training and professional internships in Germany. This education enabled him to combine European architectural traditions with modern design technologies and sustainable environmental standards.

Today, Martin Palma has more than 15 years of professional experience. Throughout his career, he has participated in the development of more than 300 residential and commercial landscape projects, creating comprehensive concepts for private properties, public spaces, and large scale environmental developments. Under his leadership, Ecolandscape Studio has grown into a multidisciplinary company bringing together architects, landscape designers, engineers, and skilled construction specialists. Alongside leading the company, Martin Palma has personally trained more than 45 young professionals in landscape architecture and design by organizing internal educational programs, practical workshops, and professional mentoring focused on contemporary landscape planning and sustainable design.
